Joint width, drip edges and fixing tolerance decide whether a façade looks precise in year ten. Notes from site.
Stone reads as permanence, but only if the junctions are drawn properly. Dust, thermal movement and hurried installation are what age a façade — not the material itself.
We fix joint widths early and hold them across elevations, draw drip edges at every horizontal change, and specify fixing systems with enough tolerance for real site conditions rather than ideal ones.
On supervision, we mock up a bay before the first panel is set. An afternoon on a mock-up saves an elevation.
